Pumpkins are among the oldest cultivated plants in the world and are not only popular in our country. For the Sandawe in East Africa, they are an important staple food and are regularly on the menu of every family. Reason enough for VSF staff member John Laffa and the trainees of our project Mobile school for Sandawe agro-pastoralists to also plant pumpkins. Fortunately, this year's harvest is particularly profitable!
