Many stray dogs lack water, food, and adequate shelter from heat or cold. In many countries, their populations are limited by trapping and killing. In addition, thousands are shot, poisoned or skinned for fun and die a slow, agonizing death.

This week, vets are vaccinating pets as usual and donating half of the vaccination proceeds to Veterinarians without Borders. This year the donations will go to our project CARE 4 DOGS - Medical help for street dogs.

  • 1,500 people die every year in Tanzania alone.
