VSF trainee Meshack Dionis proudly shows us his first rice harvest! | © Veterinarians without Borders

Meshack Dionis is proud of his first rice harvest! Last year he took part in our ongoing training programme Mobile school for Sandawe agro-pastoralists. Thanks to heavy rainfalls in his region, Meshack has decided to grow rice. The young plants were provided to him by with Veterinarians without Borders.

"The rice is of very good quality!", tells us Meshack during our visit. He already knows exactly what he is going to do with his first harvest. A small part he keeps to himself and his family. But most of it he wants to sell - also to other participants from our training project. We appreciate the positive feedback and wish Meshack all the best for the future!
